VNA SETS “HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS” PROGRAM

Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County will sponsor its annual “Hope for the Holidays” program next month for area young people who have experienced the death of a family member or friend.

The therapeutic, fun event is set from 8:30 am to 1 pm Saturday, Nov. 11, at Victory Heights United Brethren Church along Route 322 at Victory Heights.

“Hope for the Holidays” is intended to help participants experience the Christmas season while learning to grow beyond the loss of their loved one. Grief workshops, holiday crafts, and a memorial candle lighting ceremony will be part of the event.

The registration fee is $5. Financial help is available for families who need assistance in covering this expense.
