HOSPITAL TO OFFER FREE STROKE SCREENINGS IN NEW BETHLEHEM

UPMC Northwest will offer a free stroke screening Friday, Oct. 20, in New Bethlehem.
Screenings will be from 10 am to 1 pm at New Bethlehem Senior Center, Broadwood Towers, 400 Broad St.

Screenings will include stroke information, stroke risk assessment, and recommendations for modifying risk factors. Blood tests including total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and calculated LDL also will be offered. A 14-hour fast is required for blood tests.

Advance registration is not required. All screenings will be on a walk-in basis.
