UPMC NORTHWEST
TO OFFER FREE STROKE SCREENINGS

UPMC Northwest
will offer a free stroke screening Wednesday, Oct. 18, in Knox.
Screenings will be from 9 am to noon at Koenig Family Practice-UPMC,
334 N. Main St.
Screenings will include stroke information, stroke risk assessment,
and recommendations for modifying risk factors. Blood tests including
total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and calculated LDL also will
be offered. A 14-hour fast is required for blood tests.
Advance registration
is not required. All screenings will be on a walk-in basis.
