VNA TO OFFER FLU VACCINE AT SEVERAL PUBLIC CLINICS

The Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County will offer flu shots during several upcoming clinics that will be open to the public.

The clinics are set as follows:

Wednesday, Oct. 11 – 1 to 2 pm, Franklin Towers, Franklin.
Thursday, Oct. 12 – 10 am to 3 pm, Senior Health Fair, Sugar Creek Station.
Friday, Oct. 13 – 10 to 11 am, Creekside Senior Center, Oil City.
Monday, Oct. 16 – 10 to 11 am, Seneca Senior Center.
Tuesday, Oct. 17 – 10 to 11 am, Pleasantville Senior Center.
Friday, Oct. 20 – 10 to 11 am, Dempseytown Senior Center.
Monday, Oct. 23 – 10 to 11 am, Scrubgrass Senior Center.
Thursday, Oct. 26 – 10:30 to 11:30 am, Utica Senior Center.

No appointment is necessary for the shots, which cost $20 a person. Individuals who have Medicare Part B coverage may present their card for payment.

Additional clinics may be scheduled if vaccine is available.
