UPMC NORTHWEST,
VNA, SUGAR CREEK STATION SET PROGRAMS

UPMC Northwest,
Sugar Creek Station and the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango
County will offer the following community education programs and
support groups during October. Unless otherwise noted, programs
are free.
Freedom
from Smoking – UPMC Northwest will offer the American
Lung Association’s “Freedom from Smoking” program
beginning in October at Seneca Place, Route 257, Seneca. The free
program is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of
Health and Venango County Substance Abuse Program.
“Freedom
from Smoking” classes are set for 6 pm Thursdays for six
weeks starting October 12. An additional class is scheduled at
6 pm Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Nicotine
replacement products may be available at no charge if you are
uninsured or underinsured (if your insurance does not cover nicotine
replacement products) and you are a Venango County resident.

Support Group – 7 pm Thursday, Oct. 12, Second Presbyterian

Senior Driver Improvement – 9 am Monday and Tuesday,
