UPMC NORTHWEST OPENS NEW BLOOD DRAW SITE, CLOSES ANOTHER

June 6, 2006 —UPMC Northwest has opened a new site where it draws patients’ blood for testing, and has closed another location.

The new site is at Andres Internal Medicine, Route 257, Seneca, where outpatient laboratory services are available from 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays. The Oil City campus outpatient lab is closed and no longer draws blood for testing.

In addition to the new location at Andres Internal Medicine, here are UPMC Northwest’s other outpatient laboratory sites and hours of service:

Oil City – Venango Internal Medicine-UPMC, 1 Memorial Drive (8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday).

Franklin – West Unit, 1 Dale Ave. (7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday); Franklin Medical Group, 1228 Elk St. (7:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday).

Seneca – UPMC Northwest, 100 Fairfield Drive (7 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Friday, and 7:30 am to noon Saturday); Seneca Commons, Route 257 (8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday).

Clarion – Clarion Family Practice-UPMC, 342 S. Fifth Ave. (8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday).

No appointments are necessary except at Venango Internal Medicine-UPMC, where appointments are preferred during the morning hours.
