PHYSICIAN PRACTICES TO CLOSE FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY

Jan. 10, 2006 — UPMC Northwest’s community physician practices in Venango, Clarion and Mercer counties will close in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Northwest Surgical Associates-UPMC in Franklin (Daniel Palermo, MD), UPMC Cardiovascular Institute at UPMC Northwest in Oil City (Nattapong Sricharoen, MD), Venango Internal Medicine-UPMC in Oil City (Alison Dilks, MD, and Stuart Shapiro, MD), Emlenton Family Practice-UPMC (Joseph Gent, MD), Clarion Family Practice-UPMC (Randy Kreider, MD), Koenig Family Practice-UPMC in Knox (David Zlotnicki, MD), and Franklin Grove Family Practice-UPMC in Grove City (Peter Bendt, MD) all will close Monday, Jan. 16.

All offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Patients who have questions are asked to call the practice where they obtain care.
