UPMC NORTHWEST, VNA TO OFFER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

June 14, 2005 — UPMC Northwest and the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County will offer the following community education programs and support groups during July. Unless otherwise noted, programs are free.

• Bereavement Support Group – 7 pm Thursday, July 14, Second Presbyterian Church, West First and Reed streets, Oil City. Information/registration: call VNA, 814-678-1111.
  
• AAA Senior Driver Improvement – 9 am Monday and Tuesday, July 25 and 26, Seneca Place, Route 257, Seneca. Registration fee: $15. Information/ registration: 1-800-559-4880.
   
• Cancer Support Group – 7 pm Tuesday, July 26, Second Presbyterian Church, West First and Reed streets, Oil City. Information/registration: call VNA, 814-678-1111.
   
• Diabetes Support Group – 7 pm Wednesday, July 27, Seneca Place, Route 257, Seneca. Information/registration: call UPMC Northwest, 814-676-7992.
   
• Safe Sitter – 8 am to 4:30 pm Saturday, July 30, Seneca Place, Route 257, Seneca. This program is for girls and boys ages 11 to 13 without babysitting experience. Registration fee: $25. Information/registration: call UPMC Northwest, 814-677-1462 or 814-677-1463.
