INTERNIST TO JOIN UPMC NORTHWEST MEDICAL STAFF

July 19, 2004 — Venango Internal Medicine-UPMC and UPMC Northwest have completed recruitment of a new physician, and she will join the hospital medical staff next week.

Internist Allison Hajduk Dilks, MD, an Oil City native, will practice beginning Monday, July 26, with internists Alfonse Emmolo, MD; Stuart Shapiro, MD; Rodney Sepich, MD; and certified registered nurse practitioner Robert Wolbert at Venango Internal Medicine-UPMC.

Dr. Dilks will work closely with Dr. Sepich. When Dr. Sepich leaves the practice later this year to pursue new opportunities in State College, Dr. Dilks will assume responsibility for his patients who wish to obtain care from her. Dr. Dilks also will begin scheduling new patients immediately.

Dr. Sepich will continue to see patients full-time until Dec. 31, 2004, and will provide the same level of care as he has been.

Dr. Dilks is a graduate of Gannon University in Erie and MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She recently completed a residency program in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore.
