VNA TO OFFER FLU VACCINE AT SEVERAL PUBLIC CLINICS

Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County will offer flu shots during several upcoming clinics that will be open to the public.

The clinics are set as follows:

Wednesday, Oct. 10 – 10 to 11 am, Dempseytown Senior Center.
Wednesday, Oct. 17 – 1:30 to 3:30 pm, Franklin Towers Senior Center.
Thursday, Oct. 18 – 10 to 11 am, Pleasantville Senior Center.
Friday, Oct. 19 – 10 to 11 am, Creekside Senior Center, Oil City.
Monday, Oct. 22 – 10:30 to 11:30 am, Seneca Senior Center.
Wednesday, Oct. 24 – 10 to 11 am, Scrubgrass Senior Center.
Thursday, Oct. 25 – 10:30 to 11:30 am, Utica Senior Center.

No appointment is necessary for the shots, which cost $20 a person. Individuals who have Medicare Part B coverage may present their card for payment.

Persons who wish to obtain more information about the flu vaccine or the upcoming clinics are asked to call the VNA office at 814-678-1111.

Additional clinics may be scheduled if vaccine is available.
