PHYSICIAN TO JOIN SENECA PRACTICE, UPMC NORTHWEST STAFF

July 31, 2007 Board certified family practitioner Frederick Krueger, DO, will join the staff of Seneca Medical Center and UPMC Northwest on Monday, August 6.

Frederick Krueger, DO.

Dr. Krueger will practice with board certified family practitioners Norman K. Beals III, MD, Bradley Fell, MD, and Veronica Santee, MD, at the Seneca facility, which is completing a major expansion of its offices along Route 257 in Seneca. The addition will include several exam/treatment rooms, a new referral area, and a centralized nurses station.

Dr. Krueger has come here from California, where he was in private practice and a staff physician for the past six years at San Joaquin General Hospital. While on staff at the county hospital, he was director of the family practice residency program, chairman of family medicine, and interim pediatrics chairman.

Earlier he was in private practice for four years in Lodi, CA, and completed a three-year family medicine residency at Stanislaus Medical Center in Modesto, CA.

The California native has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California at San Diego and a degree in medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA.

Dr. Krueger has special interests in preventive medicine, diabetes care, and pediatrics. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Board certification is indicative of advanced credentials in a doctor’s specialty.

Dr. Krueger and his wife Janice reside in Clarion, where she is an assistant professor at Clarion University.
