UPMC NORTHWEST NAMES PHARMACY MANAGER Jan. 31, 2007 — UPMC Northwest has named J. Matthew Scola, PharmD, as manager of pharmacy services. Dr. Scola is responsible for managing the daily operations of the UPMC Northwest pharmacy and leading patient pharmaceutical care. The new manager holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He has been a clinical pharmacy specialist in pain management/palliative care the past three and a half years at Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie.
